What am I doing wrong?
I'm trying to sideload former .apks that have been converted to .bar format on my PB. I've updated to the latest Beta 2. I've installed the Java Development Kit, DDPB, and I've used DDPB to install the files.
Unfortunately, they'e not showing up in my apps. Is there an Android Player I have to have installed to see and use them? If so, where do I get it? article at File Haven says "This only works on old non 2.0 Beta OS users running 1.6."
Can I get some help here? This is my first (ok, second, years ago I had a BB Pearl, but I never did any modding to it) Blackberry, but I've got 2 Android phones, and I've rooted both of them and have CyanogenMod installed. I'm not a complete noob to modding.
I originally got a Kindle Fire and had it rooted, but still wasn't happy with it's limited customization options and the lack of memory, ram, and cameras.
Edit: And after i installed them, I ejected the PB from my PC, and didn't see the apps. Then I restarted the PB. Now what?

no there isnt an android player you have to install because you did this when you got the beta version but im not to sure why it wouldnt be working except maybe after you add the bar file to DDPB did you check the box before installing? i know its along shot but it sounds like you have done everything correct

Got them working now, well Gmail isn't working yet, and PhotoShop Express doesn't recognize the pictures on my "phone," but Tapatalk works, Kindle works, and so does Trillian.
It appears that after I installed the beta, it needed to update again. I then did a security wipe, reinstalled everything, and they're there now. Thanks!
