The VNC into my computer via my playbook is freaking cool. However, I cant see what I am typing, and I cant double click to start programs. Has anyone been able to do these things? I'm using IMT VNC.
I've noticed that different flavors of the server effects your experience. I could not get imt vnc to work with realvnc, but it works amazing with uvnc.
What would really be cool is a fully functioning logmein app, too.
Ive contacted the LMI support team to ask them about the possibility of a version of their app coming to the the PlayBook, their response was like many that simply stated they dont have any word or likelyhood of an app coming to any RIM devices or support for them. Very sad IMO, while it may not be the biggest beice of the pie, they support all other mobile platforms from but not BB/RIM... makes no sense to me, especially for someone that works in the IT field that still sees many people using BBs and needing remote desktop support.
Hopefully, that will all change in the foreseeable future, in general.
