This is not my app. I did not write this.

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/playtorrent/

It is not an android port. It is native.

Can anybody confirm about the efficacy of this app please ?? I am currently unable to do so as I don't have my PB with me and its gonna take a few days until I get it back.

Though I'd probably post my experience with this app if anyone else doesn't

    Thanks everyone

Went to site, there are zip and bar files to download. No apps. Is this a side loaded app? I thought you sideloaded android apps only.

Presumably it is an android app that works quite good on the PlayBook.

If there is a .bar file then it should be sideload-able theoretically.

It's a native app, the dev posted it here after BlackBerry took it off BlackBerry World. It works well, but doesn't work for magnet links, so you can't use piratebay.

Incorrect. Even android apps are converted to BAR before being installed on a PlayBook . You install them all the same way.

Side loading means "to install from a source other than BlackBerry World".
