Just hold your finger on icon that you want to delete and it will wiggle and an x will appear tap on x and whala it's gone.
Or re-enable Dev mode on your PB, fire up DDBP, check the apps you want to uninstall, and hit the "uninstall" button.
I'm not sure which is the cleaner method, but this and ajm67's reply above both work on the face of it.
Yes, just hold your finger on a random icon till it wobbles and a trash bin x appears.
From what I understand of what I have read here, deleting via the trash method actually only deletes the icon, the app is still there. If you restart your playbook, it will reappear.
Uninstall via DDPB.
I asked this question just yesterday, as when I installed my apps, after they were installed I deleted them from the list, so when I went to uninstall, I didn't have any automatically appear in my list.
So if you did what I did, you have to add the bar file from the computer to DDPB, then click the uninstall button at the bottom. This should remove all of it from your playbook.
Another way to do is to sideload the settings.bar file which can be found here (http://forums.crackberry.com/attachm...b-settings.zip)
open the app and go to applications - manage application then select you app and uninstall it.
This has been discussed in the forum here-http://forums.crackberry.com/android-app-sideloading-f258/deleting-android-app-pb-663741/
or if you have air installed as an app you can browse to the download file and delete from there.
I have installed sideloaded some apps I would like to now delete as well. When I open DDPB I enter all the required info but there is no "uninstall" button? There is only a delete button which seems to delete the item from the list of apps in the DDPB screen but does nothing on the playbook. Before you ask, yes I know I am connected and that DDPB is working properly as I wondered if that was the issue so I just installed the settings bar file to the play book and that worked perfectly. So what am I missing?
I have also sideloaded "settings" bar as suggested above. I notice that seems to allow me to delete certain sideloaded apps but not others. The ones it will not allow me to delete are email, contacts, calender. But it will allow me to delete, for example, the android bar for evernote. I wonder if the issue here is that the android apps I downloaded previous are now part of the embedded android software that was loaded as part of OS 2 and as such I cannot delete these apps?
Anyone been able to get the Settings.bar to install? As I get a -104 error when I try to install in via DDPB...
