So, seeing Monopoly for the PB on the home page today, I decided to try it out however App World tells me "This item is not supported by your current device profile" and I'm unable to download it. I'm running 1.0.8.6067. Anyone else getting this error?

Maybe it's still processing itself into App World, because I don't see it.
No I really don't know though, but I really would like it!

EDIT NOTES: Nvm, I see it and got it! Its $4.99, and it works for me (using the same OS version as you).

Might not be RIM. The vendor can also choose what countries to distribute their apps in. The restriction of US, Canada, and Japan is almost certainly an EA selected distribution. If I had to guess, they have different divisions for various geographical areas that operate separately.

I'm having this same issue, but I'm currently living in Puerto Rico, which is actually a part of the United States... This gets me REAL MAD!

    Thanks, it worked.

It's slow, though, but I'm patient.

How do you do that? Sorry, tech settings are not my strong point.
    Wifi ON
    Open your Working WIFI,
Change Selected Network To Saved Networks
    Click on your selected WIFI
    Tick the "Use HTTP Proxy"

Recommeded Proxy Server and Port is from USA or Canada
    Save, Connecting and Done
Open your Appworld and buy everythink that your current device is not supported.
When downloading (do not close appworld), you can uncheck "use HTTP proxy" and back to normal to get faster download

I've got the same problem. The error tells me that the profile is not supported. Even when I tried to connect to the app world with a (canadian) proxy server.

I'm living in the Netherlands, probably that will be the problem.

I can't even find it by looking manually in Appworld? How can I access it? It's not in the under the Games tab nor the popular Paid Apps tab.

EDIT: Oh and when I access it from Crackberry the price says a whopping €9,50 (though still not available for my device profile)

Wow... that's over $12 USD. Now who in the Americas would pay 12 USD for monopoly... not me

monopoly's showing $10 CAD for me...a little steep IMO, deadspace is the same money and as far as i'm concerned took way more development to run smoothly in comparison to a board game.
