Does anyone know if Silverlight will be available on OS 2.0?
that's a negative
That's a shame because i need it for Skygo here in Uk....:(
c***... because I need it for Viaplay here in Denmark...
is there Android app that we might be able to get, such as a browser that works with Silverlight?
Silverlight isn't going to be around much longer. Microsoft has even confirmed that....Granted that confirmation was made by accident by an executive, who "resigned" shortly after the slipup
sky go is available from today on android so hopefully it will work with os2
Nothing has been announced yet, related to this anyway? ;)
Tried sideloading the Sky Go apk file on to OS 2 beta but it's a no go :(
Uhmm...its not available on my "android apps" (Samsung Galaxy S2)!! so where are you seeing that it is available today?
I posted about Skygo a while ago as I was informed that they were going to produce an iplayer i was going to download it on our lasses HTC as android cant use silverlight either so there must be a way but i'm not savvy enough to work it out myself
Hi has anyone managed to get skygo to work on their PlayBook since the new update
Darren
Thats interesting since Netflix and LoveFilm have switched to Silverlight from Flash for streaming content.
They switched a couple years back, the dropping of SilverLight development is a recent happening. Basically, anyone hitching their buggy to SilverLight over Flash, picked the wrong horse. So, NetFlix and LoveFilm will have to decide if they want to go back to Flash or go to HTML5. Either of those options run on the PlayBook.
Sky have basically said no. See this thread Sky Help Forum - Blackberry Playbook - Page 3 - Help & Support from the Official Sky Forum - please reply to that thread to put pressure on.
