I got a 32 gig playbook. It doesn't seem new to me though.
There is a 'resealed and verified' sticker on the box. I didn't think too much of this at first, but the battery was almost fully drained when I first plugged it in.
Now I seem to be missing stuff. Does NFS and tetris come installed or do we have to do that through app world? It's not on my playbook.
It also makes me wonder what else is wrong with this one.
It seemed new, as I had to go through all the wifi setup first.

    TIA

    No that don't come installed.

But if you don't like it then return it.

hmm.. NFS and Tetris came pre-installed on mine. Perhaps the newer ones are not including it now? But....since it was not a cheap investment, when in doubt I would return it for a new model. Especially if it was purchased locally.

Oh, I like it, I just don't like paying full price for used stuff, thats all.
    Maybe I shoulda said exchange.
Thanks for the info. I assume you go to appworld for this stuff?

That is what I thought Munsie. And its on the box too.
I may go back. The battery part really bothers me too. Lythium batteries don't like getting too low.

So you did pay a discounted price? I believe both of those games were on my PB when I purchased BRAND new. I doubt one very low battery reading will mess it up much. All pixels showing? No bulge on the back by the logo? Power button and vol buttons seem up to snuff?

No I paid full price, but I am afraid it may have been already opened.
Everything else looks good so far.

I don't have wifi here at work, so I tried downloading some of the apps through the internet and blackberry app world. It said they were not compatible with my device.
WTF? I chose the playbook versions. I'll try at lunch at a wifi hot spot.

Well, I've decided to give this one a go. Hope I don't regret it. I got some things installed now and the battery life seems to be good. (not sure how long it should last, but it seems long now, especially with the latest update.
Great piece of hardware and kudos to RIM.
Now if they would only release the torch 2 I could get rid of this storm2
