check it out. seems the engine is open source but the maps are not. If only a dev would put this together with some of the custom quake maps out there, we would finally have Quake 3. *crosses fingers*

Find me some custom maps and I'll do it for you. I had already built it with the official maps (still have my Quake III cd) and the gameplay is really smooth
Dear lord I just saw this on berryreview. Q3 engine games are some of my favorite of all time.
Can't wait to (try) strafe-jumping with touch controls :P
yeah strafing and shooting is actually really hard in this... I'm packaging it up with 4 custom maps right now. I'll post it when it's done
