    Hey guys,

How about a process viewer for Playbook? Won't it be cool to actually view the processes running on your Playbook? Let me know your comments or thoughts about this?

Not sure the PB exposes the necessary APIs. Under Windows, I can simply pull-in PDH.DLL and grab all sorts of counter data. Likewise, I can query WMI and get a full disclosure of the PC's hardware (with a few exceptions). But I have no idea if the PB provides similar functionality or if it's truly just a "black box."

Agreed! Been looking for one since I got the PB. Super useful (for one restart android player without having to reboot... wouldn't be such a pain if it didn't take so long...).

Couple it with an alternative app installer / uninstaller (both bar and apk once root becomes available again), ram cleaner and garbage cleaner (web cache, thumbnails, 3rd party app garbage...).

This is one of the basic apps every single OS (regardless of quality) needs.

Apps don't have the required permissions to do this.
