Pricing Appworld ex VAT

Well, i own the iPad for over 1 year now and 1 compliment for RIM, i have never bought that much apps for my iPad in one month ;-)

I just bought BlackBird next to my Blaq-app and i do not understand why all the prices in the Appworld are excluding VAT? Blackbird costs �1,99 in the Appworld but when i order it, i have to pay 1,99 + 0,30� VAT.

Why does RIM not include VAT in the prices mentioned on Appworld?

I don't know but the big issue I have is that an app costing $1.99 will cost me �1.99
Hardly fair pricing. Tax differences I can accept will vary the price but not that.

I get tax added on, too. So, do they know my US State?
