Welcome to the forum. There are a couple of other PlayBook forums dealing with loading Android apps into the developers' beta version of OS2. You can indeed load your Android apps on your device but there are a lot of things to think about first. Please do a lot of research and please, please ignore any threads that suggest that you have to install Android player. The player is built into the beta OS - you DO NOT have to install it.

Also note that you should check with the authors of any of your Android apps before you convert and digitally sign them using keys obtained from RIM. It is never wise (or even legal) to use software unless such use is explicitly authorized by the copyright owner.

It would of course be absolutely okay to try out some of the Android apps that are already available in App World. The selection is rather meager right now but we are all anxiously awaiting the official release of OS2 in February.
