Didn't think much of this until this post. So I went to check my other is devices... The disturbing things I dl to see was more disturbing then a couple of pictures of girls on a beach. Would say it is tasteful for some and won't traumatize a minor even if they could buy it.
The examples after a simple search of sexy.. ?? Nude cartoon characters as a game?? Or Touch the girl and make them giggle?? WTF... Now those would traumatize a minor... Are apps that ask me to touch a picture for a response better then the real thing? Now what type of target market are they after if they allowed it on their store?? (took me 2 min to find and push ok saying I was 17 or over)
And no.... pictures of people in as little as underwear is not porn.
I agree that it would be nice if RIM would keep a level of integrity that does not include "porn" even if it's "soft porn". Porn has destroyed lives, marriages and impacts young minds in a negative way. "All that glitters is not gold, some are painted rocks that break bones"
So has religion. More so. Yet there are tons of religious apps and podcasts.
I think its funny this has caused such a stir... No one is upset that in Samurai 2 you can chop people up and it was available in the frontpage showcase... SEX is a natural part of life... Chopping people in half is not. Without sex, none of us would exist...

agree! violent games are fine, but cleavage is an outrage?! Block Breaker Unlimited has cleavage, I didn't hear anyone protesting either.
Some people are ridiculous - it's not porn and there's no nudity. I don't think there should be any content restrictions if it is legal. The rating system works great, although I think it would be better if there was a system-wide content lock that I could set, so if I had content that I don't want my kid to see on my PB, I could set it (a password-protected setting), and then not only would my kid not see apps in App World above a certain setting, but also any apps or media on my device that I've specified with a rating would be hidden too. Maybe even utilize some kind of web-filtering as well (if enabled).
You got me all excited to go look and what a disappointment. Not even any whips and chains.
Though, I dig the bikini girls.
There is NOTHING wrong with bikini girls, but I don't really need totally nudity to get my imagination going all by itself anyway, lol. Now, whips and chains, that's some kinky stuff that goes beyond my imagination.
