What is this?
BB's best kept secret?
You shouldn't even think about releasing BitTorrent apps without providing port info.
None of the BT clients for playbook seem to divulge this info. What gives?
Can't get Playtorrent to work properly.
Managed to download one file. It works fine, plays fine in the PlayBook.
The following day I added more torrents and I keep getting the same message: No response from tracker.
I'm guessing it's a port issue? Weird that one torrent downloaded just fine.
I, too, have been trying to figure this out for a while now. I'd like to port-forward the necessary access to the PB but I've yet to find a source for this info. However, I *have* managed to get Swarm working under the Player - and PlayTorrent will work if I put it on the other side (Internet-facing) of my D-Link with DD-WRT. However, none of this is ideal and I'd really rather know for sure that I'm opening a viable pathway for both to communicate at optimal speeds.
Of course, with the recent news that RIM will be closing the side-loading loophole in an upcoming release, this all may be moot. Can't use either tool without side-load access, and I doubt we'll see them in AppWorld any time soon, so... :(
