I have alot of video files on my 9900 and i want to be able to play them on my playbook while at work. My PB is full of music and picture so cannot transfer them to the device.

Is it possible with any native software or 3rd party software to play these video files through Blackberry Bridge or wifi via a hotspot from my 9900.

I know you can view files on my 9900 through the adobe reader app on the PB, so some sort of navigation is possible. Can you view them???

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong ppl but I think the version of bluetooth on the legacy bb's is not fast enough to properly stream video data for smooth play. I think that's one of the major reasons we probably have not seen an app like this appear.

Hey i would just go to Files app on playbook, then go to your video files on your Bold(from playbook). Sometimes thats works. I know music and docoments work that way. Just not sure about the bolds BT... As in i have a curve, but it be worth a shot

You can't. And you can't no matter what old BB phone you have, I don't know if one can do it with the Z10

Have you tried using mobile hotspot with 9900 media sharing and kalemsoft media player ?

Saw your thread on the app page, can't say I've tried but tempted to try later now

I did try it and it does work via kalemsoft media player at home, with my wifi network at home.

I setup my 9900 to share files and the PlayBook finds it easy.

I did try it at work where there is no wifi and setup a hotspot via my 9900 and the PB connected to it and let it media share but didn't seem to work.

Might have to keep tinkering.
