E-mmanuel app is superb.. I was really looking forward to the youversion app but as it runs inside the android player (which is totally unreliable) i went looing for a native app. Seen e-mmanuel referred to quite a bit int hese forums and went for it.
Brilliant app to read the bible with.. love that you can compare 2 versions side by side.. My one gripe is that its logos and artwork do the app itself no justice, they are really poor.. if it spruced up its looks it would most def be the best selling bible app in the market..
Why would you find that strange? The secular progressives (a very vocal & extreme minority) are of the opinion that those who believe in the Almighty are nothing more then gun toting, Bible thumping, small minded bigots; nothing could be further from the truth.
Religion and a belief in something much greater then ourselves is alive and well, friend.
Get BlueLetterBible. It's the best.
Actually, a Bible app is so popular because there are many Christians who appreciate the technology that enables us to have at hand the Word of God. And yes we do read the Word, contemplate it for daily life and then live it. In the Word we find comfort when in sorrow, challenges for daily life and hope for the future.
I would recommend that you download e-mmanuel and read the book of Mark for a start then pm me with your thoughts, questions, as you read.;)
^^^Very well said. The searchability, note taking ability, etc, is priceless.
Oh yea, I am convinced, the Eemanuel bible app is very good. It think I'm going to get the paid version :D. Nothing like the "WORD"
Yes works great and the beta for the AKJV audio is grand. Set of ear buds and you can listen while working......
Hoping they will also move it to the Amplified also.;)
No need to sideload youversion bible app, it's available in PlayBook app world
