Sorry about the misleading title everyone, it's been corrected. It wasn't my intention to build up your hope then dash it. Blame my over eagerness for this game. I owned an iPad for about 1 week when they first came out and this game was the sole reason I contemplated keeping it.

Awesome news. I hope it's as detailed as the PS3 version. It would be nice if PixelJunk started to make tablet games.

I am actually really looking forward to this cause I have never played it through.. I tried it on my iPhone but the graphics were pretty poor so didn't play much.. Bigger screen will be awesome to play it on!

yea i feel ya. I hope there is way to pay for PB apps through your phone bill when using BB bridge when 2.0 comes out. Seems like s slam dunk to me. Rim would sell more apps.

so, this thread declaring that PvZ is out was made a few days ago, and its still not out?!?!
i'm curious to see the price of it when it finally hits app world ( please don't take this as an opportunity to speculate, as i know it will be $.99 - $6.99 )

I paid $3.99 when it went on sale thru the PSN ( PS3 ). If it's anymore than $3 i would not bother since I've had it for a year on my PS3.

It's such a sad state of affairs that everyone gets so excited about a game that's over a year old being released on the Playbook. It's like we live in the boondocks and we're thrilled that the local movie theater is finally showing a film the rest of the world saw two years ago.

before i bought my playbook at the end of november, i had never heard of angry birds, cut the rope, fruit ninja, PvZ, etc.
so its all new to me!
in my case, it's a plus that the game is old, as i can read reviews and watch videos on youtube and determine if it's a quality game that i might be interested in, rather than spending money on an unknown that turns out to be crap.

( i'd rather play my 2 old arcade machines than my dusty ps3 anyways, so i'm all for older games )

Hopefully the developers decide to do what EA did with Monopoly and have it on sale(%50 off)when it finally makes its way onto our Playbooks.

Probably a bad post on the EA blog. Might've just been sent for review at the time or something. Not really sure. But the blog post at EA was removed since.
