Maybe you would be better with the CrackBerry Developer Forum.
    However, QT is Nokia/Symbian/WP.
Are you thinking of porting app's made with QT, or...?
    Sorry, for being so nosy!

I didn't realize this, would make sense though same language as PlayBook.
I might look into developing with this!

NOT that I know what I'm talking about here lol but you should use Momentics. Go to BB development forums and ask there

Native Development - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

I've heard Qt widgets can be ported but I don't know the specifics. I had PMd sacha and PB can use Qt and also Python. The problem I have is to port a Qt app Anki to PB. It needs Qt/PY library and that won't be happening for sometime.

But Momentics is designed for QNX and obviously PB. Just starting myself so I don't know how to import these libraries like OpenAL. Have you gotten the development keys and the sample apps working? Once you do that then you can modify them using Momentics using Qt which is included in the bb10ndk

    Qt doesn't work on WP r0v3r :P

Actually, Qt is pretty much the only way to make graphical applications (read: not games) on the Playbook.
Even Cascades is actually just Qt.

I suggest learning Cascades through the tutorials, jto.

I wonder whether the delay in Cascades is because of the need to import it into the Qt framework to make it easy to use. Doesn't the Cascades SDK allow you to code either through Qt or directly in C++? Not a coder myself, but just interested to know.

Yes, Cascades allows for either one. There's a great "First App" tutorial on the site that walks you through a simple project doing both.

Frankly, I found the C++ approach easier to follow.

I just wanted to get the blackberry/webkit project building, so I could mess with it. I was just unsure of which tool to use.
ndk, it messes up my 2.0.1 ndk.

    Qt is C++
    QtQuick is Javascript.

You're not meant to use one or the other. Qt is for the back-end code (in C++) and then QtQuick is for the UI.
You can of course do the whole thing in Qt (C++) if you want.
