    Is there a functioning app for the Playbook that will let you take pictures of documents and scan them to PDF? There's a (bad) android port that I was trying to use - Droid Scan Pro - that doesn't seem to work...

    I'm using Scan to Text Pro, was pricey but works very well for what I need and as a added bonus it is a native bb10 app.

    I use scan to text pro - works very well on my Z30. But for some reason i can't seem to find it on the Playbook version of Blackberry World. Is it BB10 only?

    My bad I didn't realize this was in playbook section! I use this with my passport, I will check to see if I have something on my playbook, haven't fired that up in a long time.

    I have the app but don't use it so I uninstalled it a long time ago. I know that it does work but I think it's pretty basic in form and function. If you have specific questions about it, I can install it again and check things out.

    The app installs and works fine--the user interface is pretty basic and simple. I've really only used the app a couple of times for my wife who needed it for something at work and it converted her files to pdf just fine. Here is a pic of the UI

    I just noticed that there is a free app called Document Scanner in Blackberry World also. You could try that out.
