I have downloaded some applications which request access to device id, files and internet befofe the app can be accessed. Although there is a statement that the security settings can be edited later on the security page in system settings, some apps including Overdrive are not listed in the list of application permissions in the security settings. What should I do? Thanks.

I wouldn't sweat it. The apps listed under permissions in security settings are all native apps, and Overdrive is an android app.

Hi, thanks for your insight. I'm relieved, but wondering why some app want access to all of the three categories?

Would be nice if there was a " how to" or "Do's & Don't s" on this. Yes some is obvious.
