Yes, the android runtime emulation on the Playbook is Gingerbread 2.3.3. Also the browser will not support the Netflix website requirements for direct play. Everything is too old!

Get yourself an Android tablet or iPad if you really need Netflix.

Only way I could get it to work is far from perfect; it's a workaround at best.

1. Splashtop client on the PB) (Google for the bar file)
2. Splashtop server on a desktop or laptop (where you'd run Netflix)
3. Use 1 to connect to 2 and run Netflix

I use this from time to time and it's not bad; you need a powerful laptop and good WiFi or ideally hardwired connection.

It works-ish. We sometimes start a show on laptop, go to bed and resume on the PB via Splashtop, and I shut down the laptop through the PB.

May as well watch it on the laptop - I hear you though lol. I have Splashtop on my Playbook as well but since I went to Win10 on the laptop, ST seems to crash fairly often.
