When I think about the apps I'm currently using (and loving) on my Bold 9780, I hope that there will be ported versions to the PlayBook:

Podcasts (the way it's supposed to work)

    BeReader

    BeWeather

Cortado Workplace (I don't know about anyone else, but I can print from anywhere with this on my BlackBerry)

    Epocrates

    Merck Medicus

    Skyscape

Prescription writing and patient keeping software

iSilo (or even better, an eBook Reader that supports ePub books stored on a device. Not all of us have or want a Kindle or a Nook!)

An actual Dropbox app from Dropbox (I can't live without Dropbox at this point, and while BlueBox isn't bad, it's no Dropbox)

    BlackBerry Travel

    eWallet

    Audible

    IM+

RDM+ (another RAS app that I can't live without)

Tether (the way tethering works on the PlayBook now is hit or miss, mostly miss for me after the forced update)

Tunein Radio (I have this on every device I use and I can't live without it!)

    Smart WiFi

    PDA Doc:

I am a PA in Canada and utilize many programs from Skyscape, I e-mailed them and asked if they were going to develop for the Playbook, the answer I received was that they were looking at an early 2012 release date for Playbook support. I assume they are waiting for the Native SDK. Didn't e-mail Epocrates. Cheers
