This app is now in Blackberry World and it says it's for the PB and BB10. This is, by far, the best free chess application in Android, multiple options, beautiful graphics, and very flexible. Unfortunately, when I try to install to my PB, I get Error 0008, and it won't install.
Anyone have success with this? Or suggestions?

Just installed it with no problem. Don't recall what that error means. Android port if you care.

Installs with no problem for me, my advice contact the dev and explain your problem to him, it worked for me:

Possible fixes:

• Go to settings..security<Development mode<Use development mode ON..
  
• This error can occur if an app with a duplicate name is already installed (e.g. If you have a development BAR file installed on the device). Delete the duplicate and reinstall, that should solve the problem. you can delete the app via Ghost Commander if you cant see the icon
  
• The error seems to resolve itself, after several attempts the erros disappered.... Even after the update no errors anymore.

Thanks very much. I had an earlier version of the program sideloaded. When I uninstalled it the new version installed without issue. And the app is absolutely wonderful. I'm in love!
