No. Scramble With Friends. I installed WWF, a few minutes ago and am already playing it. SWF is the latest and greatest now.

Scramble with Friends is currently iPhone/iPad only.

Won't be getting a BAR until released for Android.

Quick question, for those playing WWF can you challenge someone new from the game or do you already have to have a game going to play it? Also if we get someone to convert a newer version do you think it would help?

Probably should start a Word w/ Friends thread but....

I'd never played it before. Am now in a game (is it a real opponent or computer???). But I played first - I don't recall my Scrabble but if you use the Center Star don't you get a double or whatever?

And as I don't do Facebook, am I missing something - can you communicate with the other player? Or is it just play tiles?

Look in the upper right corner. Click the bubble and you can send messages back and forth in real time just like texting or IM-ing.

Yes, you can challenge someone new as long as you know their game ID or they are on your Facebook list. Just click the "+" in the top right or scroll down to "Create New Game."

The version on the Android Marketplace is 10MB. The one you posted is only 7MB. What's the deal? Are you trying to trick us with malware? :-o

Loaded it, anyway. It doesn't actually work. It goes through the motions of starting up, but crashes as soon as a game is about to begin. Haven't rebooted my PlayBook yet, though. Will do that and see what happens.

This hung on trying to start a new game and I had to restart my PB. Finally got to choose my opponent, then after I pressed Go (or whatever it to start a round) the app force crashed.

Any suggestions?
