    Hello,

I got sideloaded the trial from wispilot to my playbook.
That works 5 days but after that, Is it possible to upgrade your license?
Has someone upgraded allready his license?

    Thanks in advance!

This is not a great idea. You should contact the developer for converting the application to the Blackberry Playbook. He cannot be held liable when you sideload his "not-working-when-i-buy-a-licence-for-it" application.

Maby it will work, maby not. I woudn't take the chance though. Just contact the developer and maby he can hook you up with a confirmed working conversion of the app?

Hello I contacted the developer and this is the question and answer:

I got a blackberry playbook and found on internet wisepilot.bar.
It is converted from a apk (android) file so I can sideload it to my playbook.
It's the 5 day trial version.
Is it possible to buy after these 5 days a license for my playbook?
Because it's the best turn by turn navigation that I have used on my playbook.

    Regards
    Dieter

    Dear Sir,

As we currently don't support the BB Playbook we can't guarantee that you can purchase a license for it. If you still wish to try, please do so from either the in-app shop or the web site http://www.wisepilot.com (click Try&Buy).

That seems clear as water to me. They don't seem to garantee that it will work, neither saying that you shoudn't try

This means that you won't get your money back when you try and fail to get a licenced version of the app.

    Cheers.

If you can open the Wisepilot trial and it functions you should definitely be able to buy a license. I bought it when I was rooted. It works GREAT! And you can buy and download maps to your device. I use them all the time. Go into the 'shop' and follow the instructions. They have yearly and lifetime licenses. Good luck. It's a great program.

You need an internet connection (Blackberry Bridge works) or wi-fi to start any gps or map program if you do not have your route already saved. And they DO have downloadable maps to purchase. It's a great app.

I bought this app in good faith. I purchased a life time licence. However buyers beware. This cannot be transferred to a new phone should your old phone break.

I had it installed for 1 month before I had to replace my phone as it broke.

HOwever, you cannot transfer it to the new phone. I had it installed for only 1 month. They tell me there is nothing they can do.

I am now spending my time posting this everywhere I can to warn other innocent buyers.

Try TELMAP it is free and as good.

Warning. Lifetime license is not lifetime only the life of your phone. So if you need to replace your phone you cannot transfer license.

They are a rip off. Cost me 30 euros and I have nothing. Only used the app for 1month.

Try Telmap it is free and as godd.
