It SUCKS, they want to charge me again....REFUND....REFUND..:(
I ended up buying the game again, but after that I e-mailed the developers about it. I was then sent this e-mail.
"Hi,we know about this problem, for unknown reason RIM left the UPDATE from 1.0.0 to 1.0.2 paid and not free when we marked it as FREE.Unfortunately the payment you made are to RIM directly or to phone company but not to us.We can only ask to the financial department to give you back 1(one) dollar if you have Paypal account.7 Raven Studios Team"
I don't have a paypal account so I took my chances with Blackberry customer support. About an hour later I was finally transferred to customer care and was refunded for my second purchase I made for that game.
My advice for anyone calling BlackBerry CS is to try get transferred to "custom care" department asap.

i bought again also was worth an extra buck imo since its not bad, little boring at first but it picks up. if this was a 6.99 game ask for a refund but .99 twice is a drop in the bucket if you own a tablet anyways
Ditto. Just brought it again too. 99cent is cheap. Hope they release more games and better gfx.
I was having the same issue. On the occasions I AM able to find it, it either tells me to purchase it, OR says Re-install but then tells me the price has changed. ??
Bought it a couple of days ago. Haven't tried it again today though. Will try again in a little while.
yeah I have the same problem. In my opinion it looks like the developer posted it as a second application, not as a service pack. When you upload an app you have to assign an ID to it and that ID decides if it is a new or used app.
Further, when you buy a game the money goes to a company. When it hits 100 bux, they send it to the developer monthly.
So my issue is - they arent being truly honest here. It isnt our phone companies taking the money (this is the PlayBook) it is going to them. And the mistakes really arent looking entirely like RIMs. And it was a dollar so I wont loose sleep over it, but I dont want to be the dumb guy who pays twice :) I hope they sort it out. But i would like to know how they are contacting RIM. RIM always asks for my credit card to charge me for support when i try to call.
