The Cloud Reader no longer works on the Playbook. I called Amazon support and was told the only browsers supported are Chrome, FireFox and Safari. The support specialist I spoke with knew of no plans for Playbook support.

Amazing how an article appears on ZDNet talking about how the Playbook makes a better Kindle reader than the Kindle Fire and a few days later a Cloud Reader "update" makes it unusable on the Playbook.
I could not get the Cloud Reader to work anymore either, HOWEVER right now I'm on a bridge connection, thus looking like I'm coming from Canada, so that MAY be an issue. I will try again tonight from my wifi. My sideloaded Android Kindle App works fine though.

Don't waste your time with Kobo reader. It is a pathetic attempt by Blackberry to milk Licensing dollars from Kobo, and once again, did I say again? yes once again put another inferior product out there that should not see the light of day. I saved all my books to a separate file, ditched Kobo, downloaded BookReader for .99cents and have been happily reading anything and everything I want in any format. Also downloaded Calibre for free just in case I run into a format not supported.

WHY DO WE ALWAYS HAVE TO TURN TO THE APP DEVELOPERS( LOVE YOU ALL) TO GET THE APPS WE NEED. WHEN RIM SHOULD BE ROLLING THIS STUFF OUT RIGHT AND OPERATIONAL , THE MOMENT THEY ARE LAUNCHED.!!

Once again, sorry I know I said it again, "Late to market and still can't get it right"
I love my Playbook but hate the way RIM does business! The best thing ever done was firing Balsille and his buddy. Unfortunately, how long is it going to take them to get out from under their shadow and development hinderances.

    Long Live The Playbook.

Nope, it is not going to work. It will only load books that are already downloaded to your PB. Even if you tap and hold to download and pin the book, it will give you an error. Here was the thread when we discussed it shortly after OS2 update:

I have Kindle installed ... Seems to work ok; but doesn't sync across multiple devices.

Have others experienced this. I'm using Amazon-Kindle-3.2.0.35.bar
I deleted and reinstalled and it's working fine now
