Instruments is on SALE plus a sneek peak at the upgrade...

Hi all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that Instruments is currently on sale for $1 so grab it whilst it is cheap and that version 2.0 is almost done. The upgrade will be free btw.

It features a new menu, improved drum kit graphics and Jam Mode, which allows you to play 2 Instruments at once, via a split screen. Pics below.

Thanks to everyone who has purchased so far.

ps. before anyone asks about a guitar, it is in the works but still buggy, once I have ironed out the bugs it will be added to Instruments.

Are we able to record our performances with this app? It would be nice to have that feature.

Unfortunately not, I haven't worked out how to do multitrack recording and exporting to MP3 in AS3, I don't think it is possible.

Yep Guitars is out, its a very early draft of it, released for the latest playbook promotion, I still need to do lots more work on it before it's added to Instruments...

Also Instruments 2.0.0 is ready to go, with Jam mode and a few visual enhancements. I'll upload it very soon to app world, once all this free playbook/android porting stuff is finished so it doesn't take ages to get approved.

Also for anyone who doesn't have instruments yet, it's on sale all week for a dollar this week so take a look

Wish more devs will feature their apps on Crackberry on what it does and some screen shots. Just purchased Instruments due to this thread
