No. You do not.
Are you planning on a video for the VBA? This one seems a bit too tricky for me, it doesn't load any roms :/
EDIT: Doesn't matter now, the newest version solved it for me :D

I have like 30 NES games on my PB right now.. It's kind of hard to navigate with a touch screen (try running and jumping on different platforms in Super Mario Bros. to see what I'm saying), but it's still pretty sweet as far as the nostalgic factor is concerned.
