I'm getting a nephew a PB next month but I want to download the free games now in case they are not free later on. Is there a method to save the free game now to install it later on?

    thanks

It has been my experience that free games in App World will remain free.

No there's no way to do that, not that I know how to do anyway.
There's A way, mentioned by some hackers not too long ago, but the method (thankfully) wasn't revealed.

The only way I can see you doing it. It isn't practically at all I would backup your playbook wipe it once done. Create a new BBID for your newphew and then log in using that BBID download the games. Then backup/wipe the playbook then put your BBID back and restore your files. Once you get him his playbook use that backup and put it on there you can even forgo the backup and just redownload everything using the App World since you can redownload files as long as you have gotten the apps with the same BBID

In app world RIM says that Asphalt 6 and Modern Combat 2 are free "for a limited time".

Surely there's some way to do this through the web client for app world on a computer?
