Rogers is REALLY REALLY REALLY having a hard time monitoring my LTE data usage and they keep telling me to get my own bandwidth meter app. I can track my H+ usage online just fine but the LTE side of things isn't accounting properly.
Problem is, there isn't one for the PB LTE version.

    Sooooooo

Here's a memo to the devs out there. If you build it, I will pay for it. and if it's priced right, I'm pretty sure other LTE peeps would too

(why the LTE version doesn't have a usage meter is beyond me)

I'm afraid that there's probably no way we can write such an app right now. The OS exposes no APIs that let us monitor traffic, or much else with the network interfaces, and system security is too tight to dig it out otherwise. There are also no undocumented ways to get at that info, at least that I've found. I think if you could write such an app, somebody would have already since it's not rocket science (if you've got the means to do it, that is). By the way, same situation so far on BB10 as far as I can tell.
