Has anyone had success installing apps on the Andriod player? I've downloaded a ton of different programs on my PC to get the APK file to the Playbook, but no luck. In the simplest non-complicated way, can someone explain how I can accomplish this? Thanks.

Connect your PlayBook to your PC using the USB cable...
Copy the APK files to the Downloads folder on the PlayBook
Launch the Android Player on the PlayBook
Launch the Astro file manager app in the Android Player
Browse to the downloads folder and click on the apk file you want to launch

Once you plug in you PlayBook it should show up as a mapped drive

Nothing is showing up. Blackberry desktop manager doesn't even show it as connected.

Make sure you're set to Auto Detect or Connect to Windows for USB Connections in Storage and Sharing.

Weird that DM doesn't recognize it
