Most, if not all Sideloads are from Good E Reader, ie Dropbox, Evernote, Kingsoft Office...if not on Good E Reader, a search thru CrackBerry forums from 'Google with App name and CrackBerry' usually reveals the latest discussion (and link etc) and last working App version. It sometimes takes a bit of detective work and trial and error...one App I can tell you is the only fully functioning version is Google Maps 6.2.0. The link to the Bar is featured on PlayBook UK.

I guess I should answer your question, lol. I use only ONE app fairly regularly from your list and that is Kalemsoft. It's been a fantastic app and even now still works well for me by streaming video to my PlayBook from my NAS. Music and video streaming is all that's left for my PlayBook to do. Once in awhile I need Dukto to transfer music but that's about it.

There are lots of games that still work well - I think I've got an archive of close to 100 somewhere burned onto DVD's but I rarely play them with maybe the exception of a Yahtse game which is beautiful on the PlayBook. Used that for many hours while I was looking after my mother in hospital. She loved playing that game!

Thats good, still use PB here also. No the channels have sadly shut down.

I notice StereoTube doesn't seem to be working anymore. Was a great app. Not the search function now anyway. A lot of games still work though.

I also tried to connect unsuccessfully to the Uninstalled list if apps and games available to me in PlayBook BlackBerry World. Looks like the server is down, so if you havent got it installed looks like thats it.

Yes, no search, unfortunately. Saved links still can be opened and played. I'm glad that I have a large collection saved in my playlists.

We have two playbooks in home, one of them is used for Music playing (sound is great), the other has a more active use with youtube playing (Origami Browser/Maxthon) and music/video playback, but browsers are outdated and youtube doesn't work properly. Is there a recent installable browser? Battery still working like first day xD 8-10 hours video playback with WiFi on, or 7-10 days with regular music play with WiFi off

Playbooks record and execute Ansible’s configuration, deployment, and orchestration functions. They can describe a policy you want your remote systems to enforce or a set of steps in a general IT process.

If Ansible modules are the tools in your workshop, playbooks are your instruction manuals, and your inventory of hosts are your raw material.

Welcome to CrackBerry!!!! Post early and post often…….

At this point, it would be far easier to put in 3-4 extra hours on time clock and just buy an inexpensive Kindle device….

Yeah PlayBook is a dead duck in a few months...

About a six months ago the Kindle app seemed to work on my PlayBook still.... it was an older version - not sure if the same as what the op listed above. But it was sluggish and not worth using as even an e-reader, plus the battery isn't lasting very long at this point.

That's the way technology goes.... I'm on my fourth device since the PlayBook. All still work, but they ae either too outdated or too slow to bother with. For me the PlayBook has been mostly a paper weight for years.....

I stopped using it about the time we knew it wouldn't get BB10, gave it to grandkids for as video player.... but they don't even need or want it with today's stream services and much better devices. It's crazy how cheap a Kindle FIRE is...

I can't say I use mine often, but it makes for a very apt comic book reader... And since I figured out how to make wireless file transfer work again, I can see that heavy, slow, outdate tablet getting a new lease on life! The fact I can no longer get notifications on it is actually a benefit in this case.

Shame the Kindle app is slowly becoming too much for it to handle.

Kindle works fine, I just checked. It is outdated, of course. Limited view options are the main issue for my tired eyes. And access to the Kindle Store is problematic.
Bar file is still available here: https://apps.goodereader.com/playboo...-apps/?did=179

I love my playbook, still works amazing. Funny how when the playbook came out , reviewers were say, oh its just too small, but when the ipad mini came out they said, wow Apple is awesome. I find that reviewers loved hating on BB's ( most grew up on iphones thats one main reason, IMO ) although they were so advanced, like my old Q10 that I can do presentations by simply connecting my Q10 with the HDMI port that was built in. It was a great phone. I had 4. lol as I had a tendency of breaking them.

Problem is the iPad mini's display was much larger than the PlayBooks... almost 20% more display. Plus it weighted over 25% less, which is important when you are reading a book... And the real kicker, it cost less - PlayBook only got cheap, once BlackBerry wrote off a billion dollars...

Back in 2011, a lot of those reviewers were still BlackBerry fans or had recently been. But PlayBook was a beta product waiting on an ecosystem that never came. iPad mini allowed users to hit the ground running... so even Kevin had to use it. You know he had to eat crow back at the offices after all his "crap pad" comments.

Additionally, the iPad Mini was capable of sending and receiving emails without needing a "bridge" from another device.
