getting games before they're officially released

Hey guys. i was wondering since people have been able to get the links to apps before release, does this mean that if we find a pattern in appworld links, we can things while they're submitted. Im pretty nooby when it comes to app world but i was wondering how do people get things before they're released. And no they're not beta testers. For example the whole jpjr situation. Xsacha and others got it before us (excluding me cause someone gave it to me) and now they have like chasing yello.
