within the last 3 days someone released a free file manager for the playbook(i don't remember the name) but it seemed to function ok. and you could select the start screen for a particular opening... the problem is that i deleted it to prove/disprove another problem thinking i could reinstall it later...but it has disappeared from my playbook altogether as well as every app listing in blackberry appworld.....i've trawled through them all with no success...so any help???

If it came from app world have you done a refresh? Should be in your list of Uninstalled.
