    I am looking for a download manager. Preferably one that can pause and resume downloads, and can continue downloads that were stopped by the connection dropping or going out of range of wifi. If possible, it'd be great if it could start a download and continue after the playbook has been turned off and hack on. It also needs to work over HTTP, no torrents or anything like that. Is there anything that fits even some of this description? I couldn't find anything in app world, but figured I'd ask in case I missed one.

    Realized the built in one sort of works with dropped connections etc., but it's not great. Might try converting an Android one, see how that goes.

    The Android app "Easy Downloader" works OK when converted. It still wasn't fantastic though.

    Playtorrent is somethink, I use for movie download, but no resuming download. BTW, it's bar (from android)

    UC browser allows to pause, resume, restart downloads and also allows block downloading. It breaks large files into several 2MB chunks bypassing carrier size limitations.

    I wish we had it for Playbook.
