I was wondering if there is a way to add apps onto playbook like we do it on bb phones by downloading the cod files. This would be helpful for all the people who live in areas without access to app world and also for people where some apps are restricted. Any light on this would be appreciated.

Or maybe crackberry can have a separate appstore for the playbook like they have for the bb Mobiles.

There are no cod files, there are .bar files. Someone had posted a process that would let you load it on the PB. Was looking for it but can't find it. I had to do with getting Java and using some tools posted when connected to your PC.

I'll keep searching, you do the same.

Think you're talking about my thread I started here:

    http://forums.crackberry.com/f243/si...pworld-615199/

It's just something I whipped up quick to let people load bar files without needing the entire SDK.

That's the one thanks. I'd found it and came back to post it and it's already here!

And I also saved the instructions and downloaded the software --
