Hey all.

I have Windows 95 running in Dosbox on my playbook, it's running pretty well.

But how do I go about installing Win95 games on it? I can't find any way to add the game's install files to Win95.img, which would allow me to access them.

I've also tried mounting the game folder on the playbook as D:\ in Dosbox but Win95 doesn't see it.

Does anyone have any ideas? The game in question is Age of Empires 1.

In my dosbox-0.74.conf file's autoexec section (that someone else on this site kindly provided, which I modified) it's as follows:

mount d: /accounts/1000/shared/misc/c/aoe d -t cdrom
mount c: /accounts/1000/shared/misc/c/win95
c:
imgmount a w95.img
boot w95.img

w95.img is located in misc/c/win95
aoe is the folder containing extracted install files, in misc/c/aoe

I can see briefly it successfully mounts the D:\ drive as CD ROM before booting.

But I still can't get the D:\ drive to show up in Windows

look for other posts here containing 'dosbox', the original and longest one has lots of detail. You need to know a minimum about DOS and Win anyway...

Hello All,

I am having some trouble finding out how to copy windows 95 into Dosbox on my playbook. I have the windows 95 disk and the keycode. I tried to find an .img file mentioned elsewhere, but it had been removed. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated
