I am typing this announcement from Dolphin HD in the Android Emulator. It's pretty fast with JavaScript disabled but Secure Browser is still faster. Go get it now! "About" says version 6.2.0 but AppWorld says 7.1. Either way, it seems great!

Just downloaded and tested. Works really well within the Android Player. Multi-tab browsing works great, and the RAM management is quite good as it is confined within the Android Player.

I can't tell much of a difference between this version and the newer version that I side loaded. In fact I can't tell any difference at all. It works well and I love the gestures. Draw a C and I get taken to Crackberry.....pretty cool.

    The downside:

    html5test.com (dolphin): 182+1 points

    html5test.com (OS2 native): 344+9 points

    The upside:

It actually managed to load my Network Solutions webmail page, which is more than I can say for native (and its Simple derivative - even with a spoofed user string).

    Hmmmm....

Wow, nice to see some decent android apps being released, and nice to see RIM allowing apps that are potentially better than, as good as, or more popular than native apps into appworld...

    Good sign imo

no beta,no android player,so no dolphin in appworld.
But as long as the performance of the player doesnt drastically improve,i just cant use android browsers, the are no comparison to the pb ones, not even close to smooth

this o e is no different. Scrolling is not smooth and it just seems like the browser itself doesn't utilize the screen well at all. I don't get why everyone wants this browser.

Disable Javascript and it runs a lot smoother.

yeah, but either way,the pb browser and the android emulated browser are on a completly different level, the pb at least since beta 6149 is supersmooth and if you buy simplebrowser you get an even better experience

This seems odd to me. Since this is such a popular app for Android and iOS, why would the Dolphin Browser be handled by Handster for App World?

Is Flash working properly in this version? I tried going to RogersOnDemand.com and it says that I need flash player...?

I've enabled plugins in the settings, but still not working.

I noticed that also. The latest version is 7.2 I believe. Maybe we will get a update. Also noticed there are 2 dolphin browsers in appworld.

It's been hit and miss with me; reload any page enough times and the basic YouTube player will eventually play. Everything else... I don't know. Is Flash enabled within the Android Player's environment?

I had this for about 3 weeks on my android phone and ended up deleting it and going back to the stock browser due to too many issues. gonna take a pass on dolphin this time around too because the PB stock browser is even better than my android stock browser so I imagine the gap being even wider.
