    Hey everyone,

Just connected my playbook to my curve running OS 5.
Everything connected fine but there are no apps listed under the Blackberry Bridge Tab.
When I go into Appworld on the playbook it shows blackberry bridge as unavailable.

    Currently on Telus in Canada.
    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

It shows as bridged between the two devices. Is there a setting I'm missing ?

Have you tried a restart? The icons have been known to disappear.

Tried both restarts, deleted and reinstalled bridge.

Kinda confused here.. Please make sure:
    - Make sure ur PB use the latest OS
    - Download BlackBerry Bridge on ur OS 5 Curve
    - Turn on Bluetooth on both devices
    - Start BB Bridge on ur Curve, pair it with your PlayBook
    - The "BRIDGE" icon will shown on ur top right corner, besides the "Bluetooth" icon.

And the final is, please make sure that u're not on "Hybrid OS" since some of the creator change the vendor name of the Apps so it won't recognized on PB. (Happened to me once).

U won't find any app for Bridge on AppWorld for PlayBook.

    Hmmm.

Currently, my Bridge apps aren't showing under the Bridge Tab, but they do show under the All Tab.

This is a recent development for me. They still work just fine.

This happened to me once ... a simple restart of the PB fixed the problem. Same thing with the icon images disappearing (the title remains); just need to do a restart. Odd problems like this are almost always a result of memory cleanup problems; just giving the PB a fresh start every day (through power down -> power up sequence) helps.

Man.....restarted, reinstalled and the same thing happens.
I'm still confused as to why in the Playbook Appworld bridge is listed as unavailable.
Someone on another forum suggest downloading bridge on the phone through a PC.

    **update**
Bridged a friends 9700, all icons popped up, messages started pouring in. Must be something with my Curve then.
    Any ideas?

I have had this problem since I got my PB. After the second update, the one that added BBM, I started seeing an update for BBM in the Bridge folder. None of the other icons have ever showed up. I just assumed this was a bug that would eventually iron itself out. But now I've helped my wife and a friend both set up their playbooks and noticed that their bridge folders have all the apps so I now realize its just mine thats messed up.

    Anyone got an idea?

EDIT.. Ok. I unpaired my phone, then rebooted the pb and the phone. Now every icon is as it should be. Hope that helps someone since it took me two hours...
