I was jut on the Blackberry App World site on my PC, when I see this message which says

A thank you gift of free apps until Dec 31, 2011. I downloaded a couple of the apps, but see that I was charged for them.

which apps did you download? I clicked on the links you posted, but it does not really show which apps you downloaded. At this time, there are 15 apps being offered by RIM for free...

On your phone, go to app world...once inside, you will see that big gift box, click on it, and inside are the free apps....if what you downloaded are different from these apps, they may not be free...

I don't think the playbook is one that gets free apps. Only the phones.

As far as I know, there aren't any Playbook apps offered in the "Thank You" offer because that was just focusing on that whole outage problem a while back so it's just app for our phones.

Thats correct only phones get the thank you gift.
