    Is there any way to get window apps ie (esword) for playbook to run.!

    You will not be able to run any windows apps that have not been specifically rewritten for blackberry. eSword does not have a BlackBerry app (although they do have an iPad app). You can use remote software like Splashtop (link) to access programs on you computer.

    Overall most probably won't work but there are some which may be just a website. Example I have used Skydrive which is in the apps of windows 8 but on my playbook I can just go to the website and access my documents . I would go through the apps and see if there may be a link to any that interest you.

    Apparently there are some who have loaded Windows 95 on the PB through DOSBox, so some older Windows programs might actually work.

    search this forum for "DOSBOX", there are many threads. The most recent is state-of-the art, with details. In a word: only old apps from Win95 or so, slow, mousedragging sometime problematic, no clipboard transfer, but doable.

    Fyi,

    I've had a lot of fun with the XCOM series on Dosbox. And I have a Win 3.11 install working well too .

    been meaning to package them into a stand-alone bar for folks.
