I know Android has the app for call of duty elite but is there a working one and is there any type of app that can be used for xbox live? Just curious if anyone has any info on either of these?

I'm not 100% sure what your asking, however I ported the Android application and tried it on the Playbook and it didn't work.

the elite app does not work on the playbook, it was tested and failed..... and i have not seen anything about an xbox live app either
