Is there any browser for the playbook that actually works with the google services such as google docs, because the stock browser is becoming a joke for this type of stuff.

I don't know if either of the native browsers (non-android), Secure Browser or Simple Browser+ will work. Secure Browser's developer is active and might know. They both can change the User Agent which can sometimes help get them into sites that otherwise don't like the pb.

I have tried simple browser and no joy. Can someone try with secure browser to see if it works.

This is a deal breaker for me.

Testing done. It used to work well - heck I ceated a 300 line by 12 column excel sheet one night in it.

Switching secure browser to Android mode seemed to help. And all modes i tried seem to work (ipad2 has interesting methods) and BB8900 shows u old school interface The problem is loading during editing. I think its javascript heavy - which is notoriously bad for RIM period.

So, usable - maybe - if your patient. I didnt try other modes, seemed laggy. Better off usi g Docs2go and importing it manually. I wouldnt use this regularily
