    I was playing around with Box yesterday and later got a notification to update to v2.0, however every time I try I get an "Install Error [0008]"

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Yes, same problem for me.

    BTW did Box for the PlayBook always come with 50 GB free?

    oops the box app gets downloaded and then while installation an error appears.

    There's also a supportforums thread where it's mentioned and someone there posted an email they got back from tech support saying that they're well aware of it and are working with the vendor(s) to resolve the issues. Box.net isn't the only one suffering from this apparently.

    I just cant wait to get my 50gb free like the hp users originally had. That will be amazing! But yes same error here for now.

    I am waiting for the fix.. and wonder what is included in the new version because the apps size jumps from 3mb to 12mb.

    I just cant wait to get my 50gb free like the hp users originally had.

    Box Version 3.0 is out. Downloads AND installs, no problem. And you also get the 50GB free storage notice too.

    I just got the 3.0 update installed and was notified when I logged in that I had been upgraded to 50 GB.

    You are right. Just a few min's ago app world triggered v3.0 update on my PB. Installed and received the free 50GB upgrade!

    Wow, if that's payment for having suffered :-) through a whole day of not having box.net, there are no words to describe their level of customer support. <grin>

    But it is fixed, and I hope that means all the other devs having the same issue can get their updates out now.
