UPDATE :- EA is kicking thingz off with 50% sale on Dead Space...40% + sale on recently releases Madden NFL 12 as well as heavily discounting their other games like Simcity as well as game of life...
Will there be any black friday sale for apps. I have seen large apps sale by popular gaming companies for cyber monday even father's day sale and was wondering if any one knows of any upcoming leaks or news whether there will be any sale on apps/games?

With as few sales as playbook apps make, probably not.

It's true because Mike and Jim said so at DevCon. I am getting fabulously wealthy selling my app at the ridiculously high price of $0.99. I sold one unit today and I plan on using my $0.70 in profits to put my neighbor's kid through college. I couldn't afford to be so nice if I was always holding sales - so forget about a Thanksgiving sale!
PS If another person buys my app before midnight GMT, I can double my sales. I hope everyone doesn't visit App World at once- it might cause a major outage.
Nice sale from EA...hopefully Union, Gameloft, Polarbit, Hotgen will all follow.....
