BlackBerry WebWorks dev question:)

I really like where RIM is headed with their HTML5 support and implementation....I am curious to know how WebWorks being open source and having a GitHub depository benefits devs? How does it increase your time to market and how much of an asset has it become....I believe that this will add a compounding benefit for devs over time:)

Also what do devs have to make of WebGL at this point in time and more importantly the future?
