If you see the message: Error 503 Transport not supported. It means your Playbook and Phone are not bridged.
New in 1.0.5.225
- Removed links and status at bottom
- Improved Bridge detection
- Hardend application
- Adjusted screen ratio setting with mismatching windows
- Added two more user agents
- New default UserAgent (PlayBook) is most reliable, less attractive
- Many bug fixes from old DB Code
Known Issues:
- Some pages fit funny - this looks unavoidable
- IE agent adds a 'Web folder' that does nothing
Interesting? I wonder what this means in the future?

Was using the other workaround that opens in the native browser - but this one works even better! I can cope without bridge browser, bridge files or sound - Thanks so much!
I actually submitted this for free to the AppWorld - RIM kicked it back because it says "error 503....|
... which is actually an error put in by RIM that means you need to Bridge your phone.
... also the same error I explained in the description and release notes.
I resubmitted with a block of text in the app saying what error 503 means. But who knows, maybe they will actually let this one through At lesat they were testing it lol.
Can someone help me how to use this file? I already installed it with DDPB installer but i found nothing but the same original bridge that came with the OS 2.0 and it didn't work.
Nah, seems to me the install didn't take and you're tapping the original bridge icon. You don't end up with the same icon. Look for a totally new looking one labelled 'Bridge OS2' at the very bottom of your first pane.
Hi guys. I an only see a white screen? E.g. when i click on Memopad / Notepad, i cannot see any files. If i make a new file, it will be on my blackberry as well. I use the latest Bridge OS2-file and OS2 .3894.
Anyone else having this issue? I can use internet-tethering but can not see any messages. Not on both my Blackberries (9780 en 8520) btw.
Update => It works when you select English language and US Country.
The native Bridge works now with the new .3894
