Another application is in development and we need you to help us out with beta testing and providing us with information needed to finish this product without bugs and with as lot as possible usability.
Since this application is location connected we need this information from you:
- Country
- Male/Female
- Playbook OS version
- From 1-10 how do you master your Playbook
- Why do you think we should select you as our beta tester
So your post should look like this:
- Canada
- Male
- 2.0 beta
- 8
- I use my playbook for work and private time and it's always at my side
- Canada (Ontario)
- Male
- 1.0.8.6067
- 9-10
- I always have my playbook with me and use applications in a large variety of situations. Also, I always give out enough information with problem reports to solve the problem (and when I find a problem I try to duplicate it first so I can give you information of exactly what causes it).

-I use the Playbook for everything, for my business and personal, I'm highly analytical and critical, I own a laboratory where those traits are necessary. My friends and associates come to me for anecdotal critisism to scientific analysis for new ideas, products. This was typed on my Playbook, I've replaced my computers about 90% through playbook solutions and have helped others with new remote solutions through the playbook.

- My Playbook is by my side all the time. I'm a RIM fanboy and proud of it. I bought a car mount for my PB just so I could use your VCMS app. I'm a RIM beta tester. I work in the software industry as an implementation consultant.

I love my PB and use it constantly. I won 3 (yes 3!) iPad 2s in 2011 through work but went out and bought a Playbook and have never regreted it for a second. I'd love to beta test and provide feedback for my PB!

I use my playbook for personal and work, mostly for browsing, email, and reading, I wish to have more functions for the pb.
ps: are you gonna add gps-less compass in vcms? thanks..

- I work in IT and am adept and spotting problems, with a methodical approach to testing. I'm not a RIM fanboy as the guys above said, if anything I'm 'platform-agnostic' I'm not sure how the location specifics of your app works, but if it's a worldwide app, I'm your first European candidate so you should be letting me have a go to test overseas
I'm also pretty active in any development community I take part in. I only got my hands on a playbook last week, I've already contributed a few minor times on here, as well as porting an android application with a pretty decent length guide on how to go from "OS 1.X to OS 2.0 and sideloading the app". (info here: Awful App for the Blackberry Playbook - it *is* the android app - The Something Awful Forums - including it here to show my commitment to helping the community)
Now that sickening grovelling/CV submission is over with, good luck with the app guys

- My PlayBook goes virtually where ever I go. I love beta testing because I feel it gives the end user a chance to have an impact on a product before it hits the masses.

I offer a unique perspective as a student; use my playbook in a variety of ways including school, work, and play. I like working with betas as it gives an opportunity to see whats on the horizon for the everyday user. With all 4 of my family members having playbooks, we have a diverse user base, and use our playbooks in a variety of ways. Once one of us uses/likes an app - we likely all use it.

- 8? I do pretty much with it, from editing documents, to planning projects.
- I've done beta testing for Bellshare's BeBuzz, Stock+, Fixmo Tools, Fixmo Extend, some other apps here and there and some windows software. Right now, my PlayBook is my main computer (laptop kicked the bucket) so I spend a lot of time with it which should provide me with plenty of opportunities to test your app around.
EDIT: Add providing translation services to AirBrowser (starting today).
Im glad there is a lot of people who provided us with details we need, already... Now i would like to ask you to call, mail, tweet, BBM your friends living in other countries since we need people from all over the world for this one... and I would really to see more women as beta testers so we can really put the logic of our application to the test. This is also why we dont need you to know your Playbook very well... We dont need you to be IT specialist... We need you to use your Playbook to help you out in every day things...
Just a reminder... only 2 more days and we'll start selecting testers for our latest app!!! Post your requested information so we're able to select you as a beta tester!
Thank you all for participating! We'll send you private messages and/or emails if you're selected to participate in beta testing of our new application.
this doesnt mean this post is closed... you can still give us your information and we'll consider your information and let you know if we'll select you for a beta tester.
we do need beta testers from other countries around the globe too so if you have a friend in Poland or a family member in Serbia... please let them now we need them.
