I agree book reader is a money app and prob the best indie app out there right now. Many people who just ultra casual users might only know of Kobo or Adobe PDF Reader, at least some of the indie apps made the list, not many out there though.

Hi, I have purchased a Playbook. Not real sure on the model number but it is 32G. I purchased it to read books on. I had purchased a Kobo Arc, but had problems with it, thus the Playbook, I am not Tablet swavy, so be gentle with me please. I have a large quantity of books to put on it. I had thought that I could put them into the Kobo app, but am very disappointed that I can't. So I downloaded an app called King something, I don't like it at all....So I am in search of another app that I can put all these books on, and is easy to use. Can you help? Thanks

If you have purchased Kobo books, you should be able to reload them from the pb's Kobo app if you log into Kobo. But you canNOT load them manually by just copying them as you found.

If the books are drm protected, that has to be dealt with first if you use any other 3rd party e-reader apps.

There is one ereader app that folks like a lot but I don't use any so can't recall.

Let's see if anyone has suggestions.

I couldn't care less if it's native or not. It just has to work flawlessly.

Accordingly, the best apps are Aldiko, Kindle, and Moon Reader - all sideloaded.
