Hi, has anyone sideloded the Bell Fibe Remote app to their Playbook? I'm switching to fibe soon and would love to have this app running on my PB (really don't want to buy a new tablet just for this app).

I just tried it on my Q10 and it appears to work fine so at least you can try it on your Z10. Only thing is I'm not home and couldn't pair my receiver (need to be home and one the same Wi-Fi to pair it) but will try it when I'm home.

I haven't had the chance to try it on the PlayBook though. Need to find the BAR since PlayBook doesn't support APK installation.

Thank, I'd seen some guys claiming success with it on the Z30 but others saying it wasn't playing nice with the Z10. Was hoping to hear someone had success with the Playbook and maybe had a bar file.

Guess I'll have to wait till I have fibe installed to see how it works.

I have it on my Z10 and it works flawlessly. Surprisingly it works better than on my Galaxy Tab 7, it tends to hang and restart the app.

That's too bad, had high hopes. Where did you get the .APK or .BAR? I'd like to try myself (not that I don't believe you) if someone knows where I can get my hands on an up-to-date bar file.

Nope, guess it doesn't work. Downloaded and converted the apk, side loaded it, but on start up it gives an error about the keyboard crashing. Too bad, i had high hopes for bringing my playbook out of retirement.
